CHOLLAS VIEW The Chollas View derived its name from the abundance of the cholla cactus that once covered the 424-acre community. Home to 4,880 residents the community is located in the north-central portion of Southeast San Diego and is bounded on the north by State Highway 94, on the south by Market Street, on the east by Euclid Avenue, and on the west by Interstate 805. We are currently working with community residents and resident-led organizations to continually update this portion of our web site with updated photos and stories that will offer a view from the windows and lives of the people who share the rich history and culture of this community.
